When you’re like me, you’re sitting at the computer watching all the carpentry. I like to look at photos and videos of carpentry workshops and I am often moved by the excitement (and jealousy) when I see what people have built in their workshops.
Usually there is a table saw in the middle of these workshops, but it never seems to be there alone. It comes with amazingly designed workshop furniture to increase the efficiency of the tool. And besides, I don’t think I’ve ever seen two. One of the great qualities of carpenters is that we don’t just copy what we see. It’s cool, we like to take positions that work for us and adapt others that don’t work. You can see this by looking at the saw tables. Some are designed to save space. Some are designed to accommodate large arches, others to hold milling tables, others to serve as assembly tables, I could go further.
I wanted to share some of the best tables I found with you.

Lola Ranch
Lola Ranch
I found this on woodworkstalk.com. It was posted by user Lola Rancho. It’s a big shop, where he needs two table saws. The way he set up his table saw station, that both saws have the same table.
Mobile Workplace
Elton Hammond’s mobile workstation
Elton Hammond’s mobile workstation
This mobile workstation from Elton Hammond not only increases the saw’s productivity but also looks great. It is interesting to see how these things are tried with a large cabinet saw. One of the big challenges was to keep the table height low enough, but still on the rollers. With a large adapted fence and ramp and an integrated milling table, you can do much more.
Large workbench Production table
Tkusma loading table
Tkusma loading table
Here is a table of outgoing messages from a Tkuzma user on LumberJocks.com. His maple, laminate and MDF workbench also serve as a starting table for his table saw. By standing on the adjusting wheels, it can be moved and adjusted in height quickly and easily. If he doesn’t need a table saw, he can roll it up so he can move all over the table.

I found this on the Habitat website. It’s very simple. It includes a small extension that is attached to the same mobile base of the saw and also levelled at the same height as the huge mounting table.

It’s another one I found on lumberjocks.com. It has an enormous capacity and a lot of storage space.

Designed by Andrew Betschman at LumberJocks.com, this table saw station is an excellent example of how the productivity of a small, portable table saw can be increased.
Large storage capacity Table
CCBanta waste saw table
CCBanta waste saw table
I found this office on ccbanta.com. It has a large width and depth and allows a very efficient use of the storage space. I really like the sockets that can be used for small power tools.

Sources list of Todd Fratzel
Todd Fratzel built a simple and efficient saw table for his Delta Unisaw, which also serves as an assembly table. The T-rail on the table is used to provide clamping adaptors and workpieces with collets. It allows easy and efficient storage of small power tools and instruments.
Universal table saw station
zzzzdoc table saw station
zzzzdoc table saw station
This is an excellent example of how carpenters can pay as much attention and care to shop furniture as to projects. This mobile office saw station from zzzzdoc on LumberJocks.com is based on the contractor’s SawStop saw. To the right of the saw is the milling table extension that uses the Incra Wonder fence.
Here are some of my favorites. I hope you enjoyed it. Click on the links for more information about these table saw stations and shipping tables.
