Now my workbench doesn’t look like anything anymore, in fact I made mine in the afternoon from conifers, OSB from another project and MDF for the shelf. The idea was that I needed a workbench to build The Workbench. Well, I still use this workbench, but deep down inside I still dream of building my own real workbench. It will be built of beautiful and interesting hardwood and will have all the necessary features. And most importantly, it’s gonna be so beautiful, I don’t want to use it anymore. I often pause between the features and style of the more traditional workbenches mentioned here and the more modern workbenches with milling tables and Festool-like MFT functions. Well, I guess I’ll have to build two.
Charles Davis Workstation
Charles Davis Bank
Charles Davis Bank
I found this at the Pitsford Lumber. It was a project by Charles Davis, the client of Woodworks CD. Made of ebony, walnut and zebrano. The Zebrano used in the tail shape is beautiful. Charles also chose a closed storage space under the couch. It really is a work of art.

Here we have a great DavidMc workbench at finewoodworking.com. It is made of maple, oak, black walnut and purple core. The purple heart at the front and the missing parts at the back are very nice and the drawers offer a lot of space to store and organize hand tools.

Another workbench from the tool shop on Lake Erie. It is a workbench on Lake Erie, built in December 2013 by Duncan Robertson. It is mainly made of maple, but it also has cherry wood and Vietnamese rosewood to add accents. The tail of the pigeon on the tail spot is beautiful. You can read more about this building here.

It’s another one of the LumberJocks. It was a Custom LumberJocks Lysdex project. The upper part is mainly made of maple and the legs of cherry tree. I strongly advise you to take a look at the link, because this bank has a lot of interesting features. A bottle opener is a nice gesture.
